Dell jumps into smart phones

The brand that makes PC and laptops (including mine) will be seen in the smart phone market when it begins selling them as early as next year. To be powered by Google’s Android software, this would also run through the AT&T network.  Fanatics of the iPhone’s touch screen need not fret.  The phone to be produced by Dell would also have the same feature as well as a camera (though this isn’t really very impressive nowadays).

This comes weeks after Nokia announced it will be entering the laptop/notebook market via its Booklet 3G.  PC to phone, phone to PC. Everyone’s just going everywhere.

More on this via the WSJ.
