With or without this crisis, I have gradually become a news junkie, finding particular interest on what’s happening in the financial markets and the incessant debate about what the effective economic policies are. Occasionally, I also put in my 2-cent on some of the issues I find most interesting. I used to enjoy the debate between political parties but I’ve gotten tired of it. It has become a mere bickering between them. The remaining public figures I find worthy of hearing are Ben, Timmy and sometimes, the President (he does have some valid points sometimes).
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Financial Management from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and completed a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California. At the moment, I am working for our family business while still waiting for my luck to turn and finally land a job in the industry. I’m also working towards receiving the CFA Charter.
A big fan of soccer, of Chelsea Football Club and the Spanish national team (I gave up on England when they have turned into cubs from being lions). Federer’s my boy in Tennis. When he’s not playing, I tend to side with Serbia national Novac and British lad Andy Murray. There’s something about Andy Roddick’s arrogance that I hate.
